This women's kiteboarding camp can be anything you want it to be... From working on gaining self sufficiency to advanced unhooked tricks. Join us to working on building your community of female kiter friends or simply come along for an awesome vacation where you don’t have to plan a thing! We’re bringing a small group of women together for an inspiring kite vacation in one of our favorite kiteboarding locations, La Ventana, Mexico.
We’ve hand picked the perfect kite house located right on the beach that will serve as our kite-in kite-out home base. This camp is limited to 6 attendees and we expect to fill quickly so if you’re interested please reach out to us with your questions or to reserve your spot.
Our belief is that women are fantastic at supporting and inspiring one another and we want to foster that. We believe in adventuring, learning and kiting our butts off. We believe in empowering you in your kiteboarding, getting over hurdles and increasing your confidence both on and off the water.

The Kiteboarding
A week straight of kiteboarding really helps to advance your level. Our camps provide an empowering group setting for women to learn intermediate to advanced skills. You can expect us to be on the beach or on the water for 2-4hrs/day minimum (conditions permitting) where we will offer extra support and pointers for jump starting your progression. We have over 20+ years of combined kiteboarding experience and bring this expertise to your most difficult hurdles. Spend a week with us to receive consistent and thoughtful feedback and incorporate these pointers into your kiteboarding at your own pace over the course of the camp.
Example trip goals: Gain confidence, meet friends, first jumps, riding toeside, upwind progression, backrolls, unhooked tricks, getting comfortable on your surfboard, learning to ride a foil board, jumping higher, have a great vacay!
The air temp is warm and water is cool-ish. Bring your bikinis + board shorts & tanks for mornings in the sun and your full 3/2 wetsuit and hoodies for when the wind picks up.

About La ventana
La Ventana is a laid back fishing village & now kiteboarding town located on the Baja Californa Sur peninsula located about 2 1/2 hours from Cabo San Lucas. As the thermal picks up around mid morning, the wind funnels between the mainland and Cerralvo Island and blows side onshore consistently from November to April. The Sea of Cortez has been referred to as “the world’s aquarium” due to the abundance of sea life.
The Wind:
The peak of the windy season is December to March. It is typically a mid day thermal that gets accelerated by a venturi effect as the wind sucks onshore between the island and mainland. Typical sessions start around 11am and last until the sun starts to set at about 5pm. The wind is side-on-shore from the Northeast direction.
The Digs:
Stay on the beach with kiteboarding at your doorstep. Luxury private rooms provide all the amenities along with a outdoor jacuzzi, lounge chairs, yoga studio.

The Food

Breakfast Buffet: Coffee, fresh juices, tea, fresh fruit, pancakes, bread, spreads, tortillas, eggs, bacon, sausage, yogurt, granola
Lunch Buffet: Chips, pico de gallo, guacamole, steak tacos, black beans, jasmine rice, homemade sales
Dinner: Local catch of the day, pan seared with garlic, white wine and butter, jasmine rice, fresh vegetables, dessert

Getting There
Book your flight into Cabo San Lucas arriving anytime before 6pm on February 13th, and departing mid-afternoon or later February 20th. Our shuttle will depart Cabo San Lucas airport approximately 6pm on the 13th and will depart La Ventana the morning of the 20th cost per person on the group shuttle is $60 each way. Any reservations that fall outside this time will require a private shuttle at the cost of $120 each way.
