Meet the Team

Meet Sensi Graves

Sensi Graves is a professional windsports athlete, entrepreneur, speaker, and confidence mentor who has spent over a decade traveling the world competing in park-style kiteboarding events.

With a career that has taken her from the Outer Banks of North Carolina to the far corners of the globe, Sensi has earned a reputation as one of the most respected athletes in the sport—while competing she regularly placed at top international competitions and appeared in major kiteboarding publications.

In 2012, Sensi launched Sensi Graves Swim, a sustainable swimwear brand designed to empower active women and withstand the rigors of watersports. What started as a solution to a practical problem—bikinis that wouldn’t stay on—evolved into a purpose-driven business rooted in ethical manufacturing, body positivity, and environmental stewardship. After 13 impactful years, she made the bold decision to close her swimwear company to fully step into her next chapter: uplifting others through mentorship, speaking, and coaching.

Today, Sensi blends her experience as a professional athlete and entrepreneur to help people—especially women in male-dominated industries—overcome imposter syndrome, cultivate unshakable confidence, and believe in their own power. Through transformative keynotes, intimate retreats, and powerful 1:1 mentoring, she teaches that confidence isn’t something you're born with—it’s a skill you can practice. Whether on stage, in the water, or in one-on-one mentorship, Sensi Graves is on a mission to expand what people believe is possible for themselves—and to help them feel awesome doing it.

On and off the water, Sensi’s mission is the same: helping people believe in themselves.

Through her mindset mentoring, she helps those who may look successful on the outside finally feel that success on the inside—by remembering their worth, overcoming imposter syndrome, and stepping fully into their confidence.

The retreat was so much more than I anticipated! Having talented and encouraging female instructors was inspiring and so much more effective for my growth than other modes of learning. It was more time on the water each day than I've ever had consecutively, which was tiring but also led to amazing progress in my skills and confidence that I can handle any situation on the water. The positive, supportive community of women who shared the trip have become cherished friends, whom I can't wait to get out and shred with again! I left tired, satisfied, and amped to practice what I learned.

I wanted to reach out just to thank you for organizing such an amazing trip, and to say how fantastic the coaches both were. Nadja and Abby were such a great team. Their skills and personalities complimented each other - Kind, fun, supportive people, plus fantastic instruction. I progressed more than I could have reasonably hoped for during that week. A few days after the clinic wrapped up, I started this downwinder in difficult conditions with a group of much more experienced kiters - and I surprised them and myself with the level I’m at now. Anyway, thanks again for creating such a great program/environment. I really loved it!

My weekend with Strut Kiteboarding far exceeded my expectations! Colleen and Sensi were inspiring, supportive and gave clear and concise instruction. Their suggestions on progression were spot on, and helped me reconnect with the sport in an unexpected way. They brought together an amazing group of women to spend the weekend with. I would definitely attend another camp if given the chance!
