Tropical Kite Adventure

The retreat was so much more than I anticipated! Having talented and encouraging female instructors was inspiring and so much more effective for my growth than other modes of learning. It was more time on the water each day than I've ever had consecutively, which was tiring but also led to amazing progress in my skills and confidence that I can handle any situation on the water. The positive, supportive community of women who shared the trip have become cherished friends, whom I can't wait to get out and shred with again! I left tired, satisfied, and amped to practice what I learned.

This camp was amazing. I saved literally years in my progression. Even before the camp started, I was able to master a trick just from our pre-camp call. In two days I was able to learn/try 4 new things. That could have easily taken me 4 years, at least, on my own. The coaching is so effective on the water and on the beach. The approach of having a few things to work gives you so many options based on your energy levels, "right time" feel and conditions. It also gives you a few things to work on which makes your progression move so quickly.

Strut put together an incredible experience that incorporated mind, body and soul for women passionate about kiteboarding. It was professional, thoughtful, inclusive and empowering and left me wanting more. Please keep doing these kite camps!

I wanted to reach out just to thank you for organizing such an amazing trip, and to say how fantastic the coaches both were. Nadja and Abby were such a great team. Their skills and personalities complimented each other - Kind, fun, supportive people, plus fantastic instruction. I progressed more than I could have reasonably hoped for during that week. A few days after the clinic wrapped up, I started this downwinder in difficult conditions with a group of much more experienced kiters - and I surprised them and myself with the level I’m at now. Anyway, thanks again for creating such a great program/environment. I really loved it!
